Opera North is proud to be the premier professional summer music festival of the Upper Valley. Each summer, over 7,000 people attend a season of concerts, special events and mainstage productions at Lebanon Opera House and landmark locations around the region. Each fall and spring, more than 2,500 elementary and high school students are treated to free performances of opera and musical theatre through our Education & Outreach programs. And Opera North’s distinguished Resident Artist program provides young professional artists with experience and education to further their careers.

With professional performers, a full orchestra, and impressive sets and costumes, the cost to deliver high-quality productions is substantial. Thanks to the generosity of those who appreciate the value of the performing arts, Opera North is consistently able to bring opera and musical theatre to the region.

Did you know that less than half of the funds needed to create Opera North’s productions come from ticket sales? In addition to support from corporate sponsors, grants and foundations, a major portion of our income – 40% – comes from individuals like you who believe in the cultural strength of the Upper Valley and the special gift that Opera North brings to the entire community.
