Opera North's Music of the Knights Picnic Concert

Oh, what a Knight… or three!

What do Andrew Lloyd Webber, Elton John and Paul McCartney have a lot in common?

Yes, they are all British-born, they have each won an Academy Award and multiple Grammys.
And they have all been knighted by Her Majesty, the Queen.

Sir Webber, Sir John and Sir McCartney are three of the most successful songwriters of all time, with careers that span decades. From Broadway to chart-topping Gold Records, these three musical geniuses have crafted an incredible legacy that leaves a familiar song in everyone's hearts.

This special Picnic Concert presents hit selections from their work as a "theatrical concert" with a cast of three accomplished vocalists, a piano, bass, and drums.

The show is directed by Scott Coulter, its creator, who has received five MAC Awards from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs, five Bistro Awards and two Nightlife Awards for Outstanding Vocalists. Known in New York City’s top rooms, Coulter has performed at Birdland, 54 Below, The Oak Room at the Algonquin, and Feinstein’s at the Regency, where he spent a record-setting eight months.

Now he and his unforgettable tribute come to Opera North at Blow-Me-Down Farm for just one night,
